I've never been to an auction, is it easy to bid?
A lot of people are intimidated by auctions they have seen in the past......lots of shouting, with fast and confusing auction banter! Dawn Geddie, certified auctioneer and also the owner of La Petite auction house is very easy to understand and you will be in the swing of things in no time! If you have any questions you are always welcome to call or email La Petite prior to the event with any concerns, or ask staff at the viewings.
How do I register to bid?
Each person wishing to bid in the auction must first register and obtain a bidder number. This is done either at one of the viewings (see the Home Page of this website for date and times), or at the auction upon arrival. Should you be the lucky winner of an auction item, payment will be taken when you "check out".
When can I view?
La Petite Auction House viewing hours are as follows:
Wednesday through Friday from 11am - 4pm.
Saturday from 1pm - 4pm.
You may also view on auction day from 10 am until auction start time of 1 pm.
What are Terms and Conditions?
All items are sold as is where is and lay at the purchasers risk immediately. Please satisfy yourself as to the condition, authenticity of the item. No returns for any reason! There is a 15% buyers premium added to the final bid price as well as applicable taxes. We accept cash, visa, mastercard and debit. All items must be paid for on auction day.
